Slocum Enterprises is comprised of direct descendants
of Joshua Slocum and several key technical associates.
As
a young boy growing up, Ralph Slocum learned about
his great-grandfather's achievements and from that
point on, he wanted to celebrate and call attention
to them in an appropriate manner. A manner that would
be both respectful of his stamina, courage and personal
sacrifices, but that would also raise his stature
and bring him recognition on a worldwide scale. This
is why, in the 21st century, we are in the process
of launching a line of nautical theme clothing and
accessories – modeled after Joshua Slocum's
lifestyle, persona and achievements.
Our
product lines will include clothing, sportswear, accessories,
jewelry, sporting goods and fragrances. Our goal is
to offer products that will provide lasting comfort
and pleasure, and which capture the spirit of a man
who personifies individuality, freedom, and the fortitude
to survive and win on his own terms. You
need not look far to see we have a wealth of sources
on which to draw for inspiration.
